Dr. Sunil Thanik earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He completed his residency at Yale University and St. Mary’s Hospital and his Specialty Training Certificate in Periodontics and his Master of Science degree at Case Western University School of Dental Medicine.
As a volunteer at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), Dr. Thanik has taught both the undergraduate and graduate dental students. He is currently an associate clinical instructor in the graduate periodontal program at OHSU and a certified instructor at the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry. Dr. Thanik has many professional affiliations which include the American Academy of Periodontology and Academy of Osseointegration.
