Dr. Neal Lehrman is an expert in the field of Laser Periodontal Therapy, and is the first Periodontist in NYC to be certified to perform the LANAP protocol. He has extensive training in both surgical and non-surgical periodontics as well as in the placement of dental implants. After completing dental school at the State University at Stony Brook, Dr. Lehrman completed his training in periodontics and implantology at UMDNJ-NJDS. In the final year of his training, he also served as Chief Resident of the department. Dr. Lehrman has been in specialty practice since 1996. His clinical responsibilities go hand in hand with his research and publishing across the spectrum of periodontics and laser surgery. His philosophy is that in order to be the best clinician, one must continue to be thinking of how to move the care of patients forward in a more comfortable and effective manner.
