COURSE NAME:

LASER PERIODONTICS

Course Description: Comprehensive clinical and procedural training in using the Nd:YAG Pulsed Laser including hands-on training and observation and procedures performed on live patients. Periodontal Occlusal Therapy, Practice integration and marketing, review of pre-operative cases and observation of post-operative cases. Course Duration: 1 Day Course

The Doctor will become proficient in performing LPT during hands-on clinical procedures with human patients under the instruction of certified IALD trainers.

CE Credit

The Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry designates this activity for 8 hours continuing education credits.

Prerequisite

Successful completion of LASER course. Rationale-Attendees should have historical, modern, general, and medical applications of Lasers, Laser Safety and Physics, Laser Tissue Interaction, the Types of Lasers and their application to Dentistry. Attendees must have a basis in theoretical understanding of lasers prior to hands-on patient treatment utilizing a pulsed Nd:YAG laser in this course.
